All of these classes are not offered at my school so I’ve decided to self study them instead. I know it seems a little bit extreme but, I’m desperate to get into Berkeley/Caltech/Stanford. I should note I’m a freshmen (Sophomore REALLY soon). Should I self-study all these AP classes? I’m wishing to complete all of these in a year. Is it possible?
Please give me tips & help or critique the textbooks I’m using!

Yes, it`s very doable. Study Calc AB and Physics during the first semester (until Dec), then cram Economics and Human Geography for 20 days. March and April are left for reviewing.
I`m also a freshman, and this year I self studied Micro and Macro in 8 days. They are not that hard.
Good luck!
Something else: even though you seem to love Barrons, for Micro and Macro I recommend 5 steps to a 5, and PR for reviewing phase.
For Calc, you can find Petersons online. I think it
s in extremepapers or something like that.
And PR is generally recommended for Physics, especially if youre self studying, because Barrons is known for overcomplicating things (and this may confuse you if you don
t have a teacher).
5 steps to a 5 for mirco and macro…everything else is rather okay
Thank you SO much Argentina and InstantEco!
It’s very nice getting advice from people who did the same thing.
You don’t need to submit AP scores to apply to selective colleges. Colleges only want to see whether u took challenging courses OFFERED BY YOUR SCHOOL.
I don’t see the point in self study for these courses. Your competitiveness for those schools wd be better served by developing for EC u are passionate about.
