My school doesn't offer any AP's or Honors classes. I'm interested in doing some self-study AP's, but I have no idea how to get started, or what do do. Coud any of you offer any advice? Thanks a lot.

Once you have the list of offered exams......pick some you are interested in and then you might approach a few teachers at your school to see if they will give you some support. Of course you will want to view some old exams and perhaps purchase a review book. Look for local resources.....

How you approach the task will depend on what exams you are taking. Once you decide what exams you want to self-study for, you'll need to read through the AP curriculum and buy a textbook and a prep book (post on CC for recommendations for textbook/prep books for any particular subject). Then figure out how you're going to manage your time and get through all the material (hopefully by early April). Like hazmat said, see if you can get a teacher to give you some guidance if you have any trouble with concepts (esp in math/science classes). As the exams approach, review all your material and see if you can get your hands on old tests (from teachers or CC) to practice with

if your school doesnt offer any AP tests, I doubt they will be able to proctor the test that you take. Find another school in the area that offers AP and see if you can take the exams there. Make sure you can afford the exams, 82 dollars per AP test.
