AP Spanish Class with a C?

So I’m currently a junior in high school with a C in her AP Spanish class. All of the rest of my grades are all As, including my 2 other APs in World History and AP Studio Drawing. I had one B in precalculus in sophomore year, but other than that my grades were all As.
I’m very sure that I’ll recieve straight As my senior year, as well as attend a dual enrollment class at GA State and join Key Club, International Club, Beta Club, and Varsity Lacrosse. All of my classes will be AP. I also have been accepted into a summer leadership program. I plan on interning this summer at a hospital.

I’m worried about the C in my Spanish class, and I know I can’t change it but is it going to greatly affect my chances in getting into Emory University for a Biology major? What are my chances of getting in?

Yes probably, what are your stats, do you have any hooks, when are you applying?
You should probably do a “what are my chances” thread.

@nautilition : Emory does not admit by major. And why do you “know” you will make straight A’s? Are the outcomes of courses you will take that predictable at your school? Or do you just mean you will work very hard? If the former, that may ding you if taking easier/ultra comfort zone courses to preserve your GPA. The adcoms can tell so be careful.

I’ve gotten 3 C’s (maybe more although thats all I can think of atm) before getting admitted and had an extremely poor GPA although I did offset that with a high ACT.

Honestly, don’t worry about it. Sure the C won’t help but it won’t drop your chances as much as you think.
