AP Spanish...hopeless?

I'm in ap spanish 5 and have typically been the A student in spanish; however, whenever we do ap exam practice activities in class...it seems I just suck at listening/reading...etc. I don't want to fail the ap exam because I work so hard and don't want my effort to go to waste. For example, I might get erratic 4/5 on one section or 3/6 then miss all of them...on reading comprehension. I don't know if it was just me being tired from studying for my ap us test till 2 am. Are there any hope/ideas/tips out there? I've never taken an ap "skill" exam. How do I prepare for it since I can't just read through a prep book and memorize facts? Thanks.

Yea we did our first listening stuff today and it was soooo hard. I got a 5/5 on one section and then we did more and I got scores like 2/5, 3/5, and then a 2/7 on one of the long passages. Speaking is super hard also cuz my whole class does it together and having 14 other kids saying “hola cecilia, como estas?” At the same time its hard to concentrate. But yea pretty much same situation as you. Took all honors Spanish classes and got A’s in all of them and then AP comes and its the hardest thing ever

I know. I’m a hard working student, yet I don’t know what I can do. I’ll watch a few spanish shows for listening practice. Any articles about latin american countries to help develop reading comprehension? I haven’t found a good site…maybe bbc world news.

Yea my teacher wants us to watch at least 30 minutes of the Spanish channel per day which I haven’t been doing at all. And as for reading, I went to Spain over spring break in march and I brought back like 4 newspapers which I’ve been trying to read. Obviously the events aren’t really current but still its like probably one of the best things you can read. I’ve learned a ton of new vocab from it
