ap spanish is a waste of time, help me out here

<p>this class is horrible, i can't understand my teacher for **** cause she speaks so fast with that Spain lisp and she always calls on me to speak or say something. i absolutely hate this class and even though i can write and read decently enough, speaking is messing me up and she grades impossibly and plays favorites. every time i try to say something i get all choked up and nervous and i never know what to say and i embarrass myself all the time. </p>

<p>someone tell me if i should drop this class.... i got a B last semester but barely, i got a C the second quarter like a 71 and almost couldve gone BD which wouldve been a disaster. i hate the teacher when she puts me on the spot and i absolutely hate the kids in my class cause all they do is *<strong><em>ing laugh at me whenever i try my best to speak... i'm not even planning on majoring in spanish and as a second semester senior, i could really not give a *</em></strong> about this class</p>

<p>i'm doing 2 other APs plus anatomy which is pretty much an AP and i would be SO relieved if i dropped spanish since i'm not even doing anything related to spanish when i go off to college.</p>

<p>You could try getting a spanish CD or something to supplement your class even if it’s just to get your confidence up. I hope you find a way to figure it out :)</p>

<p>My school requires you to take it, so I’m taking it, but I do have friends who bailed because they couldn’t take it. It is a pain though, and I hate my teacher, so I know how you feel.
And whatever you do, do not stack AP Stat and AP Spanish.</p>

<p>AP Spanish seems scary to me. I’m just going to take the equivalent at a community college.</p>

<p>think i’m gonna talk to my counselor tomorrow and see what the best option is for me… hopefully she lets me get out of it cause i’m doing AP Calc AB and AP Euro plus anatomy, and honors english which is a decent schedule anyways, so it’s not like i’m trying to get out of this to be lazy. i do not to be struggling in a foreign language class where people laugh at me because they think i’m stupid. should’ve stopped after spanish 5.</p>
