Does anybody know average the test curve on the AP exam? Is the exam hard?

It isn’t so hard if you’re already a native speaker or have lived in a Spanish-speaking environment before. But regardless, you WILL have to work a lot on your speaking and writing skills, both of which are extremely important if you want a 5.

I just took it this year and I haven’t recieved my score yet, though I know I recieved less than a five. Apparently, the collegeboard recently decided to make it far more difficult for non-native speakers by removing the fill-in-the-blank section, thus making it ridiculously difficult to get a five.

If you dont practice, it’ll be hard.

I grew up speaking Spanish in my household so i don’t think oral would be much of a problem. I wouldn’t call my myself a native speaker because i am not the best. What aspects of writing would have to be worked on?

umm my friend wasnt a native spearker but he took spanish for 5 years and got a 5 on it --he just utilized what he learned in the classroom (last years test–hes in college now)
