<p>To any one here (who isn't a native speaker) gotten a 5 on the AP spanish exam, what did you do/ what did it take to get a 5.</p>
<p>Practice the listening a lot -- TV, radio, etc. and do simulated sections from the exam a lot. And practice the speaking sections the most -- if you're unable to do well in the speaking section, you won't get a 5. Practice the other sections, too, of course.</p>
<p>Make sure to practice the different modes of language constantly -- listening, speaking, reading, writing. Expand your vocabulary and get grammar (especially verb forms, namely the subjunctive) down pat.</p>
<p>Finally, get the Barron's book for AP Spanish. Its exercises are harder than the exam's, and it really prepares you for all the sections (with grammar exercises, etc.).</p>
