I was already accepted to Cornell for the Fall, and today I took the AP Spanish Language test. I took the test of my own free will, after my own independant study and without any formal course. Long story short, I do not think I did very well. I didn't tell Cornell I took the test since I did not decide to take it until February. Will a poor score on the test affect me? Will Cornell care about the score since I took no formal class? Should I cancel it? (I didn't tell the collegeboard to report it) Any help and advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Even if you get a 1, Cornell won't care and won't do anything.

I should add that I am a Bio major in CALS.

I took that AP today too! Some of the recordings...man I was really surprised how fast they let the readers speak.

It was hard.

I took the test today too and my whole class started laughing during the listening part because we couldn't understand hardly anything.....it was hilarious.....i don't think i did that good either.

Oh man, after the second recording I just tuned out for the rest of the test...

haha and the parts with the like radio caller in type quality? i couldnt catch a word..

My D said same thing about the listening test--she said everyone had trouble deciphering it!

yeah I took it too... We'll see how it came out. It was tough, though I think I did okay.

i've taken spanish for five years, have done pretty well in it and thought the AP was really difficult, especially the listening. i wouldn't worry too much about cornell saying anything.
