AP Spanish or AP Statistics

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help me in making the decision of choosing AP Statistics or AP Spanish. The following is my schedule next year as of now:

Dual Enrollment Math 265/270 (First semester is Multi-Variable Calculus, second semester is Linear Algebra; I took BC this year)
Dual Enrollment Psychology
Dual Enrollment English 201
AP Spanish
AP Physics C
AP Econ/Gov

I was aiming at dropping Dual Enrollment Psych for AP Stats, but my schedule would be conflicting as many of these classes are only offered in one or two periods, so that is not an option for me. I received high grades in Spanish 3 both semesters and my teacher really encouraged me to take it. However, I am going to being majoring in Computer Science (I already took AP Comp Sci A this year), so I am uncertain whether it is worth taking that class over AP Stats. I am aware that AP Stats is a math class and is therefore “related to my major,” however I will already be taking a math course this year and I am not sure how directly Stats will apply to my major.

Thank you in advance.

P.S. I heard that taking AP Spanish will help in allowing me to stand out among other students. Additionally, I just think the language is pretty interesting and I would like to get better at it.

Considering how advanced at math you are, no need to take AP Stats, a class for students who can’t/won’t take calculus. it’s considered an ‘AP-lite’ whereas AP Spanish is a core AP. I’d recommend you keep AP Spanish.

Alright, thanks for the advice! I think I’ll stay in AP Spanish.
