AP Spanish or English?

Hi,
I have a very packed schedule next year with many APs. However, I'm stuck between taking an AP Spanish Language and Culture class or AP English Language and Composition. Pre-AP Spanish was much more difficult than Spanish 4 but I passed with a B+. How much would taking an AP Spanish exam help in college admissions? Is it worth taking the class just to have greater course variety? AP Spanish would be slightly more difficult but may have a higher payoff. I don't plan to major in Spanish but I do plan to apply to liberal arts minded schools like HY, but also UPenn.

AP Spanish because of the foreign language requirement. You canmost likely test out of college English anyways.

Check each college you plan to apply to in order to see how each AP test is used for placement into more advanced courses and/or fulfilling graduation requirements.
