So I’m planning my schedule for senior year and there is a class I really want to take called Health Occupations where you get to shadow doctors and get to wear scrubs and learn about how to be a doctor that I really want to take. The problem is that I would have to drop AP Spanish. I’d also be taking Calc 3 at a college, IB Chemistry HL, and AP English lit. Could I self-study AP Spanish this year (I’m in spanish 4) or would it look bad?
You already have 4 years of Spanish, taking AP Spanish is nice, but unnecessary, if you want to take Health Occupations then you should.
Planning to major in Biology or Medicine would look favorably in Health Occupations. Otherwise, talk to your GC about this issue
