Well, to be absolutely fair, nobody in my class puts forth the least bit of effort. But we shouldn't really be expected to go out and learn major tenses (or moods, if you prefer) on our own! I was forced to do that about a couple of months ago, and let me tell you, it's not pretty! I feel really bad for my classmates who are going to take the test with me tomorrow. They don't know what they're in for!

yo estoy SCREWED FOR THE TEST!!! :(

yeah... i almost atrated crying today thinking about tomorrow. spanish and then stats. NOT FUN AT ALL!!!!

pues, es importante que estudiemos mucho ahora para el examen, No toman mas estres! Duerma mucho porque necesitas ser "alert" para el parte de escuchar.

Oh, let's stop the charade. We'll speak enough Spanish tomorrow, trust me.

I'm not going to study anymore because frankly, it'll go through one ear and out the other at this point. We're at the 11th hour, folks. It's been nice knowing you.

all im going to study are idioms, conjunctions, and maybe some transitions. i just want the test to be over. such a relief once a test is done. on the positive side, the curve this year will be extremely generous, i can almost gurantee that since we are the first test group and they didnt release enough prep materials. i just hope i dont get murdered on informal speaking. i cant stop saying "uhhhh" in between thoughts.

I started laughing in between my practice oral because I had no clue what the woman was saying. I mean i knew what she was saying, but i didnt know the topic [conversation informal part] So i started laughing.. lol i am so screwed.

Tengo miedo.

Ojala que reciba un tres

Me too. Uhhhh. See, I'm doing it right now. But we should really bite our tongues, as my teacher tells me that the graders get really annoyed when people do that. Apparently, they prefer long stretches of silence.

I'm so glad i dont have to worry about this test. I know you guys are freaking out but im not even studying, I'm about to get a fatty 5. I'd actually be surprised if anyone from my class got a lower than a 5. Our teacher prepared us so damn well.

lucky you.....

wait i was just reading some of your posts on this thread and sorry to say but every single one of you that wrote in spanish has a lot of mistakes. I didnt even understand a lot of what you're saying.

I'm hoping for a 4. I think the curve will be pretty generous though.

only thing i'm worried about is either getting a dumb essay promt or not understanding key word in essay promt question? and for reading do you all kno how many passages there will be, we have about 40 min for that? Do you all have any specific stratagies for test? For the long narratives where u answer the questions are the questions going to be there as you are listening or will be provided in end?

I think my teacher prepared us slightly, not the best though.

i am sorry for having crappy spanish Alex, maybe you could correct it and show me how to do it correctly so I do better tomorrow?

Ilovebusiness.. there are 5 reading passages, with 60 minutes to answer I believe. My advice: the instructions the people read are long and give you no advantage.. start reading the material/questions beforehand to get an edge. For the short listening I think they give don't print the questions and for the longer passages the questions are in writing.

yesss that alot of time for reading our teacher has been cutting our time hardcore during practices, she would give us 40 min for 5 passages and 35 min for essay part. for 200 word essay how many passages r there going to be to read or listen to? Also for email what is a good beginning sentence like querido amigo or sumting like that wuts a really good one cuz i don't wanna just put hola, and wuts a good endign one? Also for the speaking 20 sec there is always a greeting line and a despidete line so wut do you think would be good way to say hi in like 20 sec, and way to say bye?

que tengan suerte!!!!
