AP Spanish studying tips help appreciated.

<p>Well I have spanish AP this year, and not only do we only have five classes, I actually wanna round off learning this language (it’s been a while and I’m pretty good) as well as help my teacher out since it’s her first year being certified and we’re cool so it would make her feel good. Regardless, I need some hints on some of the following:</p>

<li><p>Learning to listen to spanish. I’m sure non native speakers know what I mean. Like foreigners who come here and feel we speak too fast, I need to learn how to listen better. So far I’ve come to listening to spanish television and radio for at least an hour or more a day and just leaving spanish news/tv on when I’m doing stuff in my room.</p></li>
<li><p>Getting my vocab up. I’ve been reviewing lists of grammar, but you know any other lists or sites could really help.</p></li>
<li><p>Mastering the syntax. What type of activities and all did you do. </p></li>
</ol>

<p>Anything else you guys might find useful will be great, I want to finally learn spanish well enough to be able to move onto itlian next year so I’m looking forward to any help.</p>

<p>For listening to Spanish, go to the United Nations' website and use the Spanish version of it. Listen to the radio reports. It's quite helpful. For vocab, like in english, the more you read, the more you learn. Other than that, write and read as much material as possible.</p>

<p>para aprender el futuro necesitas praticar mucho. mi maestra es muy estricto. todos los estudiantes en mi clase de espanol practicaban todos los dias antes. hoy, sabemos como traducir y escribir algo en un minuto. si practicas todos los dias, me parece que seras fluido en espanol para el seis de mayo. Buena suerte para el examen y la clase. Se que haras muy bien. Los siento si mi espanol tiene errores! :)</p>

<p>Mi problema no esta escribiendo, esta hablando con gente muy rapido. cuando ellos hablan conmigo si estan hablando muy lento (slow?) entonces me entiendo, pero si hablan muy rapido >_<</p>

<li><p>What you're doing is great, but here are some other suggestions: use youtube.com -- search Spanish words and you get lots of interesting results. I came across a lot of Spanish stand-up comedy, which was helpful since they spoke so fast. You can also try the Barron's prep book, which has CDs with it. Very tough.</p></li>
<li><p>Read. That's the best thing. As you read Spanish, write down words you don't know. Later, look them up. Refer back to the text and see how they work in context. You can also look up word lists online. Try studyspanish.com.</p></li>
<li><p>Do a google search of "Spanish grammar." You get tons of results devoted to nothing but Spanish grammar -- with exercises, too.</p></li>
