AP Spanish vs. AP Psychology

I'm a rising junior and I'm currently deciding between AP Spanish and AP Psych. I know most top colleges want to see four years of a foreign language and I'm currently in Spanish 5. Do you think it's necessary to take AP Spanish (basically Spanish 6) even though I have 5 years of Spanish already? Which ons is seen as more prestigious at selective colleges? I really want to attend Tufts. Thanks.

I think you should choose AP Psych. Not only is it an interesting and fun class, its pretty easy. Besides you can take AP Spanish when you’re a senior, or just self study and get the AP credit.
Good luck with your choice :]

Thanks! Anyone else?

take spanish now so you can get it all done :)

AP Spanish would look better, but AP Psych might be easier (it all depends on how good at Spanish you are).

I’m decent in Spanish, but not fantastic. Is there any difference between taking AP Span in junior or senior year? I

If you take AP Spanish your junior year, colleges will definitely see your grade before they admit you. For senior year, they will know you are taking the class, but they may not see what grade you’re getting until after they make their decision.

I personally think showing proficiency and dedication to a foreign language looks better than AP Psych, but your call.

Okay, I’ll take AP Spanish. Thanks for all your guys help!
