Hi, I'm new to this, but anyways i'm a sophomore and Hispanic I was wondering how do I take AP Spanish without taking 3,4,5. I was given an opportunity in my freshman year to Spanish III Honors, but I declined it for some reason and took Spanish II I passed the class with straight A's in all four quarters and now wondering what classes should I take my junior year. I'v decided to take AP Lang, AP gov or AP US history, and if I can't take AP Spanish i'll probably take AP Physiology or Human geography then maybe Pre-calculus honors, and maybe AP environment if I manage to finish the previous classes you must take before those online and finally two magnet classes which I must take journalism III Honors and Mass Media...

my son took AP Spanish in his junior year and it was an easy course for him. However, his conversational skill in Spanish is very poor. His best friend, fluent in Spanish, graduated from a dual immersion spanich/english program in middle school, almost failed in AP Spanish. Talk to the AP teacher first. If you think you have shot at getting an A then enroll in the course. At my son’s HS, students are allowed to withdraw during the 1st 2 weeks of a new school year.

Thank you this was very helpful, i’m going to take it.
