AP spanish!!!

Anyone taking/has taken AP Spanish??? I'm really worried I will not do well on the test, because my teacher CAN'T TEACH. He's a native Spanish speaker and assumes all of us just KNOW Spanish so he doesn't bother to explain anything to us or really go over anything in depth.

What else can I do to prep for the exam? It's not really something I can study for on my own, should I get a Spanish tutor??? Do they have AP subject tutors from places lik Princeton Review or Kaplan???

HELP!?

which spanish? language or lit?

Language i think

I have the same teacher I had for Spanish last year...Last year, she taught very well because it was limited information out of a book and she had taught from that book for 10+ years. However, this year, I realized that AP Spanish Language is basically all the Spanish I've learned the past three years jumbled together and twisted a notch higher...That's what make AP Spanish difficult...there is just so much to know. To make it worse, there are so many exceptions to the rules that we, non-natives, have to just memorize...:( My teacher, this year, expected us to come to class knowing everything already. She gives us practice sections w/ answers. We have to go over the answers ourselves and personally ask her questions ourselves. In class time, we basically write essays, oral practice, and learn the words to famous Spanish songs (then we sing:) ). She doesn't methodically go over the grammar.
get some good spanish grammar books and workbooks. However, I do have an extensive collection of spanish grammar books, which I occasionally go through.
My recommendations:
Spanish Verbs (green cover workbook w/answers)
Spanish Pronouns and Prepositions (red cover workbook w/answers)
A New Reference Grammar of Modern Spanish (by Butt, John indept overview of grammar)
1001 Pitfalls in Spanish (Barron's; lists the most common mistakes in Spanish)
The Ultimate Spanish Review and Practice (a whole bunch of exercises w/ answers on all the topics for Language; also has culture notes, which are helpful in essay writing)

all of these can be easily purchased at amazon.com or your local bookstore...!Buena Suerte con los estudios! :)

I'm a genius in Spanish. I've lived in Spain. I'm taking Language and Literature exams (language is a gimme) in May. When I was in Spain, I took courses at a Spanish Language school, and got wonderful books that can really help you if you need a grammar review.

(I too find that my school is weak on teaching grammar)
Don't get a prep book, get one of these books, you might need to go onto a spanish
book seller online and import them

I bought all of these in Spain except for one,
I use them as references
