Do they require you to erase the calculators memory for the AP Stat exam? I see that it's not required for some AP Math exams but it doesn't specifically say for the AP Stat Exam so I'm looking for an answer.

Nope. At least, not when I took the Calc BC exam. I had a bunch of Calculus notes and programs stored in my calculator. Funny thing was that I barely used them (I recall looking up something on Taylor series, but that was about it) and I still passed.

I believe it says somewhere in the AP “rules” that you can have stuff in your calculator without clearing it.

Nope. You don’t have to clear your calc memory for any AP exams.

I really doubt that all the proctors are gonna sit there, looking through every single student’s calculator and back up calculator, reading line by line of each program that a student has on their calculator to make sure that there are no “notes”. That would be such a waste of time and that would inconvenient for people who have exams right after the stat exam.

Besides, what if your notes are your programs and you access your programs?

Yeah, the proctors at my school are not really going to bother to check, and it’s probably the same at most other schools too.
