AP Stat Self-Study?

Hi guys!
I'm taking AP Calculus BC right now (as a senior) and I was thinking of taking the AP Statistics exam through a self-study course. My dad taught a Montgomery College course of Statistics, so he has a pretty general knowledge of it, and I've bought a review book.

I am hoping for a five, so that I can have an average AP score of 4.
But in reality, how hard is it? I self-studied for AP English Lang, and got a 4.

I personally have always loved statistics, and although I haven't done high level statistics, I think it's my favorite type of math.

Would you guys recommend it? Thankss ( :

“If you flip a coin three times, what are the odds of getting one heads?”
This is an actual AP Stat Exam practice question. If you can answer this (it’s a little tricky a first glance), you should be ok. In other words, it’s a pretty easy class from what I’ve heard. I’ll be taking it nxt year, along with AP Calc

Are you serious? That’s good! So that means getting a five or a four is easily possible, correct?

I know for IB Mathematics, we cover a bit of statistics and probability, so that will help too.

Thanks : )

yes. AP Stat is easy. Shouldn’t even be an AP, but hey I’m not complaining lol. BTW that is a legit AP Stat practice question (I don’t remember the link I got it from). A four is almost guaranteed

so wait, you can self-study for AP Stat @ Montgomery County? (b/c i attend school there) where would you, then, take it? (at school?)

Yessir;
if your school offers the class, then they will have the exam, and when you register for it, you can take the exam.

Technically, you could sign up for almost every exam, despite not having taken the class.
