AP Statistics or AP Biology

Which of these schedules looks more "rigorous", and just flat out superior.

Schedule #1:
1. AP Biology
2. H-Latin 4
3. AP US History
4. H-English 11
5. H-Physics
6. H-Precalculus

Schedule #2:

*AP Statistics *

H-Latin 4

AP US History

H-English 11

H-Physics

H-Precalculus

AP Stat, especially the same year as pre-Calculus. I could be wrong, naturally.

AP Biology is generally more rigorous. AP Stat will not earn you credit at some of the top colleges, whereas AP Bio might.

AP Stats is not really worth taking a class for since it can be self-studied. AP BIO, however, has some labs in it and I suggest you take it now since it will probably be 10x harder in college. Get CliffsAP Biology and you should be set for that class.

AP Bio i would say…

Thanks for the advice. I got a bit anxious because some of the people I know who also take AP’s were switching into it for some reason, and I still don’t really get why… laziness perhaps…

Wow Puspa… you have nerve… I don’t cheat, and neither does anyone on CC, we work hard for our grades, and don’t buy them…

AP Bio generally considered harder and more rigorous than AP Stats.

Bio, its not even close.

AP Bio. AP Stats is a waste of time.

Bio is more difficult from everything I’ve ever heard and probably more recognized than stats in college admissions circles. So yeah…

And IV:

I have no idea the legitimacy of your first claim, as I can’t speak for you. However, the second claim is simply false. And just because one doesn’t cheat doesn’t mean one doesn’t “buy” a grade. Ever heard of grade grubbing? Too common among high-achieving students imo, and really unfair. So, have you really never cheated? Have you never bought a grade by other means? Are all your grades due solely to your fair work? Even if all your answers are yes, I bet that many other students on CC will not share the same answers as you (I for one, regrettably).

Stats is easy.

@PuspaFatimai: No, you aren’t trying to help. You’re trying to make a quick buck or two.
