AP Statistics?

So I'm a senior in high school and I recently picked my classes for the following year. They are concert band, AP biology, English H, AP statistics, AP spanish, and AP psychology. I originally wanted to take pre calculus but it apparently interfered with either AP bio or AP Spanish and I don't want to drop either of the two. Does AP statistics count as a math course? Because I've been hearing that it does and that it doesn't or that it depends. No clue who to believe! Guidance councilors can't even agree. I just want to check if it is because I need to graduate with four years if everything. In college, I plan on majoring in Nursing and then directly going to medical school to become a pediatrician. Thanks for your feedback!

It is a math class.

It’s definitely a math class

I would try to take Pre-cal if you could…you will need to take Calc in college and many people will have taken Calc in HS.

If you want to be a doctor, why do you plan to major in nursing? Major in nursing if you want to be a nurse. Otherwise, major in something academic. Nursing will hurt your application if you want to attend medical school.
