I want to take this course Junior Year but I was wondering what kind of Math prerequisite do I need to take this course?

It depends at your school. At mine, you just need an A or B in Algebra 2.

Algebra II is Math B right?? (NY is so complicated!) Can you take it whilst taking Algebra II?

u need alg.2

A tip: don't take statistics...take calc. Statistics is a PURE waste of time.

they're much more helpful than calc.

Umm..no..most of the stuff can be taught in a week and done by punching numbers in a calculator and the rest is review..graphs, mean, mode, range, etc that crap and probability.

You just wanna argue with me

at our school, kids call ap stats a 'weighted study hall'
i've heard that some people who never take the class, take the ap exam and do fine. this would probably be a good class for someone with a full schedule who wants a break in their day.

I'm in term 1 algebra and next year I'm going to take terms 2-3 for Algebra, do you suppose they'll allow me to take AP Statistics? And also, for Java, do you need to know Visual Basic or C++??

i seriously think that if u know geometry, then you know more than enough math for ap stats. As for ap computer science, knowing another language helps but you can survive w/o one.

Common Sense and Algebra are required for AP Statistics
