Hi everyone,
I’m gonna be a sophomore next year and I was wondering how AP stats is as a class. Like is there a lot of homework, what is the difficulty of the class…etc? I am also doing precalculus honors and I’ve heard that’s a tough course so I know there will be a lot of work between both those classes.
Do you guys think I should do some sort of AP stats prep this summer and if so what would be a good online course for this?
Experiences will differ by student. Personally, it was not a lot of work at all. My teacher emphasized from the beginning that Stats is more of an english class (ie learning the language of stats) than a math class. We did old AP open responses at the beginning of every few classes and finished the year with a project where we gathered data and analyzed it with respect to the null hypothesis
Unless you feel like you are extremely weak in math, I dont think a prep is needed.
