AP statistics?

My HS offers it online for 1 semester. And I want to know whether it's a good idea for me to take it. It's my senior year. I have my entire morning devoted to HS classes (two of which are pretty much chill classes: orchestra and school web). Then, in the afternoon, I have one college course and a physics internship that requires 7hr/wk. I'm a math/science person so I want to see what AP stat has to offer. But then again, everyone I know who have taken it hated it. Plus, AP stat has the lowest average AP score out of all AP classes.

Can someone tell me what you learn in stats? to give you a better picture of me, I took micro and macro online too and I f hated them.

1st off AP stats has the lowest grades because most of the people taking stats are ones who couldn' handle PreCalc or Calc. 2nd i took the honors course last year (since the school didn' offer AP) and than grabbed an AP book and got a "3" on the test. Its worth taking just because the material is cut and dry. This will equal this, use this to get this, its pretty much straight forward and on the essay there is alotta room to BS the answer

Yes, I'd take it. I'm taking the class right now, and I could quite honestly do without the teacher, if you're a reasonably good Math student, then it shouldn't be that bad.

So I'm taking AP stat right now, got a 5 on calc last year (who doesn't?) and hate the class right now. I'm a math person but it's really a pretty dumb course. I might feel this way because of the teacher, but who knows. I might be pretty bias because I despise drawing graphs (so much effort!) and using the calculator so much. But oh well. So take it if you please, it's not like it will be hard or anything.

graphs? GRAPHS????? I freaking hate graphs. I took micro and macro and we did nothing but freaking graphs. it was freaking HORREndous

If you hate graphs, drop teh course now because all you use is graphs and data tables. Z-scores and T-scores and Chi-Square are 3 data tables you will CONSTENTLY use in this course and they are all based on graphs. If you have a hard time with graphs i would think twice about this course

^Agrees with above poster.
My graphing knowledge didn't exactly increase (which is probably why I got a 4 and not a 5; I also rushed the last problem) but overall, the class isn't that bad.
