AP stats discussion

yes 10 char

Alright, so let’s say I omitted 8 MCs, and missed an FRQ, and only half did 2 others.

Could this still be a 5, with a reasonable amount of incorrect answers considered?

Can anyone give me a link to an online calculator where I can simulate an AP stats calculator?
Or maybe just an online version of the usual calculators that are used?

the exam was absolute hell. 10x harder than i expected it to be. i guessed on a lot, skipped a lot, and bombed the FR section by leaving out little details. i definitely did NOT manage my time well. i’m praying for a 3, but i’ll seriously be surprised if i pass.

mjang, don’t worry…me too…

Just to note on the questions with incorrect answers, both 9 and 34 on the MC had no correct answers based on my statistical knowledge. I know 34 definitely did not, and 9 had no answer mirroring the formula found in the front (which made sense considering the question.) I’m tempted to contact CB and inform them of it.

Also, for a calculator:

(MC raw-1/4wrong)1.25 + each of the five short FRQs1.875 + the investigative task3.125 is the overall raw score. Barron’s suggests that the curve is a 68 to get a 5, which wouldn’t be surprising considering the difficult multiple choice and relatively easy FRQs, especially the investigative task (which took me only 15 minutes to complete.)

Nevermind.

Both cases are almost certain 5’s.

amciw, clear your private messages

They are clear.

lol, it says it’s full again

It’s clear again.

what was 9 and 34? haha

Do NOT discuss specific questions. This is a public forum; I believe someone had their scores disqualified for what was said on this site.

Edit: I’m not entirely certain 9 and 34 were wrong, so I’ll step back a bit from that assertion, but I did spend at least 10 minutes on the two trying to find an answer that fit. I may have not known, though.

And yeah, I’m not going to go much more in depth. If others don’t think 9 and 34 were messed up, then they probably weren’t, and I was wrong in saying they were.

I was pretty sure about 34. 9 was probably the most difficult question on the test, though.

how do you all even remember the questions?

Solidsnake961

Yeah I forgot to check conditions too. Hopefully it was just the one interval problem that we had to do it.

i just want to get a 5

Can someone PM me what questions 9 & 34 were. I hoped I skipped them lol.

Conditions = Assumptions right?
