AP Stats Thread

So I've noticed that I've been neglecting my AP Stats exams in favor of my AP Calc BC one. What is the best review book out there for someone to self-study AP Stats? Barrons?

Thank you!

I'm self studying Stats using Barrons.

I'm using PR :). I would recommend you buy it. I think Barrons has way too much "useless" info. Iput the word useless in quotations because it's not necessary FOR THE EXAM.

^can you give any examples? just curious...

Could someone please tell, if you know about it, what calculator operation that I need to learn for the exam? I'm self-studying with the Barron's, and have no knoledge of how to apply a TI -89 to the exam. Are there special features other than the regular operatoins that I need to learn?

Do you have the textbook (forgot the name, but it's the one that everyone uses and the one that collegeboard recognizes)? It has TI-89 instructions etc.

Thanks z06swimmer. I do not have the book. If that's the most sufficient way, it seems that I need to get it as soon as possible...do you have any idea how much of the test would actually need special features on a calculator?
I kinda assumed there are just several tools and methods that I need to learn, but now I kinda sense that I was wrong.

Does anyone happen to know how good 5 steps is for Stats?

to you'llsee ... I'm haven't personally used it, but have been told that by multiple people who have the book.

barron's is just too long and often superfluous,
PR is much more concise and if you read through it once and understand everything given, you should do very well

I got a 5 on the exam and I used the AMSCO book. It really helped.
