AP stories! post here

I was taking Euro and US on the same day, so basically was testing for 6 hours with a 25 minute break. We were all in the gym taking the DBQ section of the Euro exam in the afternoon when all of a sudden the fire alarm went off. Everyone was so startled that we jumped about a foot in the air and then we started panicking and wondering what to do. They made us evacuate and we stood outside for about ten minutes. When we got back inside there was an announcement that some seniors had been making popcorn, POPCORN in the microwave and it had burnt (yeah, our smoke detectors are very sensitive). So we had to finish up the test without knowing whether or not our scores would be invalidated. Plus we had to wait over the weekend before we found out. Very upsetting, as I thought I would be done for the year with APs. Luckily the ETS didn't invalidate our scores as I guess its hard to cheat on essays, but it was pretty freaky. I think every person in that gym wanted to hunt down the popcorn perps and make them pay for their sins.
