I really want to take AP Studio Art for my senior year, but that would mean that I would probably end up dropping AP Spanish. Do you guys think this is a bad idea? The grades aren't really a big deal for me, I would probably end up with around the same grade for both classes. How would colleges look at this? Thanks in advance.

Both of these are AP level courses. If you prefer art, take art. It really, truly, is OK to choose it over the foreign language.

Ah, okay. Thank you very much for the input!

yes, do what you love.
AP Art, contrary to popular belief, is insanely hard (i’m dying from the workload right now).
Though I wouldn’t say Spanish is easy either. Both are challenging courses.

Which class has the better teacher?

The AP Studio art teacher is pretty standard. She gives a lot of work but is very instructive and doesn’t have weird personality issues. The AP Spanish teacher is a bit crazy, but his class is pretty easy (meaning good grades but most likely horrible AP scores).
