What is this class? Is this a easy class?
Can I self-study it? If you are a florida student, do you have to pay for the exam fee?

I think you should research the class on the collegeboard website. It is very involved and not “easy”, requiring 29 pieces of work. It is not a test but a portfolio review with very specific criteria. I would think it would be difficult to do on your own, but if you know someone who is familiar with the course that could guide you, you may be able to do it yourself. My daughter is a student in Florida and taking AP Studio Art at school and does not have to pay for “the exam”.

Correction: 24 pieces, but possibly only 22 if two close-ups are included.

Btw, it also depends on which AP Art you are taking cause 2-D and Drawing are similar but different. Anyways, its not “easy” to get a 5. If you wanna know what a 5 or 4 or 3 look like, just go to collegeboard.

Anyways, for a 5, you’ll have to be drawing a “5” quality drawing or picture, etc. about every 2 weeks. If you draw well or if you work hard, it could be “easy” but it requires a lot of work. In high school, I could spend up to 20 hours per drawing, so depending on your preferred medium, it could be very time consuming. It should be too hard to self-study, long as you have the motivation.

And unless you live in Texas or Florida, you’ll be paying 80-90 dollars for it.

even if you dont take the class u have to pay 80-90.

correction:even if you dont take the class u have to pay 80-90?

bump please.:)

yes, its the ap exam fee which you will have to pay for every exam u take.

What if you live in florida? still have to pay it?
