AP Study Suggestions

I will be taking AP Biology, Physics C, Calculus BC and English Lang/Comp THis year.
Are there any suggestions on studying....I don't mean books and stuff, but how to tackle the load of information, especially in Bio?

Also, Is there any "method" for facing the AP English essays?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

AP Bio- no other way but to read.
AP English-i don’t know. For me, I wouldn’t self-study AP English Language/Comp since I need a teacher who would evaluate my essays. However, If I have strong confidence in my writing skills, I would self-study it. If you want to know how an 8 or 9 essay is written, just go to www.apcentral.collegeboard.com under exam questions.

Biology is straight up reading and memorizing.
Physics and Calc require practicing problems over and over. Focus on trouble spots.
AP English: For the MC part memorize the literary terms from a list in a review book [ie. cliffnotes] and practice answering passage questions repeatedly. For the essays, there isn’t a set method to go about writing them. But definitely do practice prompts from AP central. Are you self-studying this? If you are try to ask a good English teacher from your school to look over your essays. Since this is a language course, the writing itself is significant [grammar, syntax, etc.]

Hope that helped :)

Thanks a bunch!:)

I am actually taking these classes except AP Calc BC. I’m especially worried on the AP English Synthesis essay.

I hope your teachers prepare you well. The AP Synthesis essay, you shouldn’t worry. Just use 3 documents and analyze them to support your argument. It’s like a research essay.

What is the multiple choice section like on the AP English lit exam? I haven’t purchased anything for it yet, since I’m still hesitant as to whether or not I really need/want to take it, but does it have questions similar to the lang exam (ie literary terms)?
