AP Test Preparation

I am currently enrolled in my first two AP Classes, AP World History and AP Human Geography. Are there any ideas that you all have to help me study for these exams, both in the middle of May? I have never taken an AP exam before, so I am lacking in ideas of preparation. I am open to all ideas, generic or specific! Thank you all so much!

Honestly, any help would be appreciated!

How do students in your school typically do in these exams?

If they usually do well, trust the process. You can do extra studying in the spring- a lot of students use workbooks during spring break for practice and revision.

If students in your school typically don’t do well, get one of the content-heavy workbooks, and use it as a study guide through the year, then get a different book (or two) in the spring.

Either way, in late spring do the practice tests in the study guides, working to time.

Libraries usually have recent editions of study guides available.

There have also been a lot of online resources that have come out, both interactive and otherwise.

One that I’ve heard really good things about is Fiveable (fiveable.me) that was founded by a former AP history teacher… Teachers hold live review sessions throughout the year, plus other trivia resources. Highly recommend and plan to sign up my kid once they enroll in AP. They seem to cover a lot of the courses.
