AP Test Reporting

As AP tests are right around the corner… I have heard AP Tests carry little weight to colleges. That aside, I don’t think I’ll be scoring too well on AP European History this year. If I get a score I’m not too proud of, do I have to self report it on my college application? I’m specifically thinking about the UCs, Ivy Leagues, etc.

Also, AP European History is not a class I am taking in school. I’m self studying for it.

Thanks!

No, you don’t have to report AP scores unless you choose to. In the application stage, they’re totally self-reported. You’ll only ever need to send legit scores if you enroll and wish to get credits or skip a prerequisite course. @mvxesque

Ivies will like to see you did well. How well depends on your possible major.
