hi i'm a junior from Oklahoma...
i tried to check collegeboard to see if oklahoma offer any SAT II subject tests
Cause like i asked all the teachers ,classmates and no one knew what SAT IIs are. So right now even i'm confused..... Can some one please explain the difference?
I know some colleges require two SATII subject tests.... so does that mean i've to take SAT II as well as AP tests?
Doesn't that sucks..... thats a lot of prep books to buy(AP and SATII prep for every subject)

Yes, you have to take both. But I wouldn't bother prepping for both. After a few years of advanced English, Science and Math, I just showed up and took the Lit, Bio and MathII tests without a problem (780, 770 and 780 respectively).

Do you mean the difference between SATIs and SATIIs? SATI reasoning is a four hour long test with critical reading, math, and writing all mixed up in different sections. SATIIs are an hour long each, you can take three at once. You sign up for it just like you do for the SAT on collegeboard. They all come in a big booklet, and you can choose which subjects you take on the spot unless you signed up for a language with listening (French, German, Spanish, Chinese, etc.)

I'm really surprised your teachers didn't know about SATIIs. If your school offers APs, they should definitely be familiar with all the collegeboard tests.
