AP test Scientific notation

I am taking AP tests soon so I was wondering what forms of Scientific Notation are acceptable for the tests. For example, the speed of light is 300000000 m/s, or 3x10^8 m/s, or 3E8 m/s. The 3E8 version of scientific notation, that my calculator uses, is a lot shorter. But I'm not sure if I would get points for using this version. Or would it be counted as wrong?

Avoid using calculator syntax on AP Exam free response questions. It costs you points on the AP Calc exams so I would assume that that would hold true for physics as well.
