AP test score VS grade in AP class

I know colleges always claim that AP test scores do not have an impact on admission.

My issue with this is that i have a US2AP teacher who is a complete A*S. I know that i will get a 5 on the ap exam, but most likely something in the B range as a grade.

Will a college overlook the B and realize that I got a 5? I haven't seen this discussed here before, and I'm trying to decide if its worth the effort to fight with the teacher.

What grade are you and when are you taking the test? If you’re a junior, go ahead and submit the test score when you apply, they’ll see it and know that you did well. If you’re a Senior, by the time you take the test and get your grade it will be too late.

PS - a B in an AP class won’t kill anybody’s application, regardless of what you read on CC.

Yes, I also hope that a good score on an AP test can negate a “relatively” bad grade throughout the year.
