AP test takers from Nepal (Class-2015)

Guys I am planning to take AP test this year....if any of u wish to take this test in your near future or have any questions regarding AP tests, feel free to post here.
GudLuck

mate…if ur college offers placement exam u need not take AP…why squander ur time and money in registerin and payin for the AP…as for me I’ll be giving the college’s placement exam … one of our seniors who went to where I am supposed to go( if I get visa) asked me to do so…

Placement Exams are taken at Lehigh too but I dont know whether they are free of cost or need some bucks. Plus I dont know how many subjects’s exam at maximum I can take on the Orientation day…
Anyways, thanx. I shall think about this too…
:D

Most of the placement exams are free of cost. :D

I wonder we cant take more than 1 subject test on a single day…

as far as i kno… i mean u can take test for different subjects…might not be on any single day but they schedule everything…bt it’z better if u email them and enlighten urself in this regard…

I came to know that MINORing in some subjects at Lehigh doesnt need extra charge. Plus the placement exams are free of cost. Now I’m not gonna take AP tests.
But yes, I am gonna go thoroughly through AP English coz that wud help me get a better score in literature there and increase my GPA. And also, I’m also gonna go through AP Calculus.
I guess now I’ll be taking the placements tests (Chemistry, Physics and Calculus) held on campus rather than the APs…
Hurray, I saved my bucks… :p

guys, are the placement exam’s courses(syllabus) and AP exam’s syllabus same.Where shall I start preparing?Shall I prepare from AP tests book for the college given placement exams??

^^Ask the adcom at Lehigh. I bet she knows the answer!

^^ Forget her, u have any idea??

The placement exams are not that different from what you’ve studied till now. So just cool down. Go on a trip far far away…enjoy A LOT till your visa interview date…just chillax dude… :p

hehe…i’ve no idea of going far away.GOT No BUCKS. But yeah, just to share, i was planning to trek to Everest Base Camp :stuck_out_tongue: b4 i leave my country, but its way too expensive, so m not sure if i can make it out…

Why are you taking AP?? For FUN?? :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
It is almost of no use…I mean, though you may transfer some credits, it is of no use…unless you wanna graduate in 3 years! You have to find out the college policy first. For that, contact a student studying there, and talk to them first before you jump in conclusion yourself! For me, there is no point in taking AP after you get accepted to good institution with excellent financial aid.

^True!

10char

2014: I was planing to take AP tests just to get off some courses and keep myself busy but I aint taking any more.I guess I’ll be taking the placement exams which are free of cost and get some courses off.I’m not taking placement exams to graduate in 3 years but just for fun.Plus I need to keep myself engaged in something in these 7 months rather than doing nothing. Taking the free placement exams are worth a shot to get off some of my courses.

Placement exams won’t be available till July.

Hey guys, I’m planning to give AP exams this year. Do you know how to register? I’m stumped, and I really want to give it for my gap year…
