Hey, this is my first post!! :D
So I took honors physics in 10th grade, grades were relatively low (A minuses) compared to other classes. But I took the AP Physics B exam junior year and scored a 5, without having taken the corresponding AP class. Any idea which statistic carries more weight for admissions? (I'm applying to fairly selective colleges)
Thanks!!

A minuses aren’t bad.

Your transcript’s weight might depend on the rigor and reputation of your school. Generally, AP scores are not taken as strongly as the SAT or subject tests.

Okay, thanks! I guess that makes sense since the AP standards are set pretty low. I definitely bombed the exam lol.
