Can AP tests fulfill prerequisites? For example, I got a 5 on the AP Biology test, so would be able to take "The Biology of Stress" which has a Bio 1A prereq? All I could find was info on how ap tests give me credit but not on fulfilling prereqs.

AP tests will let you skip prereqs but it depends on the test. Calc B/C lets you skip Math 1A and 1B so you go straight to 53 and 54, but to get Poli Sci credit you need both AP US Govt and Comparative Govt. If AP Bio satisfies your Bio 1A requirement then you are done with Bio 1A.

In fact if you take Bio 1A again I think they take back your AP units for that course - you can get either 5.3? units from AP Bio -or- 4 units from Bio 1A. It’s often in your interest to skip classes, people don’t normally regret skipping.

Well my major is pre-business/haas. So would I still be able to skip Bio 1A? I’m interested in taking PSYCH C112 to fulfill my life science breadth requirement. So I don’t know if the Bio test can still let me take it.
