AP tests - Should I?

Hey guys,
I took APUSH this year. I actually did terrible for unit tests (on the AP scale, I always got 3's), but chapter quizzes I'd get an average of 85%.

I am confident I can do much better on the multiple choice if I actually study (since none of these tests or quizzes have Istudied for).
HOWEVER, my teacher was new this year, and he has not went over how to write DBQs. We have not done ANY essays or DBQs in class either.
We didn't have WHAP until this school year, so last year, we were never introduced to DBQs at all.

I have only 2 days to decide whether or not I want to pay $86 for this test, and I'd like your guys' opinion. Do I have a chance?

If it helps, I am
1) taking the SATs on March 13th, so I don't have to take it in May, when AP tests are here.
2) taking the AP Comp test.
3) Not exactly financially stable but our school has a new policy where we can't get it for free unless we have free/reduced lunch and forms have been due already for that. (I never eat lunch so I never had a reason to fill it out)

I hope that you signed up to take the test.

I think that you’ll be able to show yourself and everyone else that you can do it. All you have to do is use the correct resources. For example, there are many practice DBQ’s, multiple choice, etc. on the Internet. I use [The American Pageant AP US History Notes | APNotes.net](The American Pageant AP US History Notes - 16th Edition:: APNotes.net) for all of my chapter tests, as well as for AP test prep.
