<p>i could 5 calc BC at any instant, but math HL has some pretty hard problems. scratch that. some INSANELY hard problems. the only real reason why BC tends to get credit more often is because its curriculum is more on line with the curriculum of college calc classes, whereas IB HL has a wider assortment of subject material, but its definitely way way harder.</p>
<p>and i feel physics C isnt necessarily harder than physics HL. sure, the former has calculus, but physics HL covers a ton of stuff that isnt in the AP curriculum, and it focuses more on actual understanding of subject material</p>
<p>^Colleges give more credit for physics C, which most likely means that it is more rigorous. Also, the only real physics is calculus-based physics, according to colleges.</p>
<p>also many people forget as mentioned above briefly american colleges are more familiar with AP than they are with IB. Many may not have a policy to give credit for IB like they do for AP</p>
