AP Tests?

What I've been wondering about is since I'm in AP English Language right now (Junior) is it frowned upon by colleges to not take the Exam? Like is that something that Admissions will judge upon? It's not that I feel I'm going to do horribly on the exam, it's just the exam costs money, and me and my mom don't have a lot of that to just spend on tests.

Can you get a fee waiver from your high school? You can actually save money by doing well on the test and not have to take an English class in college but check that out on the college Web site because some will not give credit for AP test scores.

@MSNDIS‌ I don’t know how it is at other schools, but with a fee waiver (which I do qualify for) it was still going to be $63 which was still ridiculous. But I will check out websites of schools I’m interested in to check, thanks for the input! :)

Sorry that the fee waiver doesn’t actually waive the fee. I agree that $63 is still very expensive.

Colleges don’t usually see your AP scores unless you specifically send them, so they would have no way of knowing
