AP tests

I have (officially) decided that I'm NOT going to take the AP BIO test. (Although I'm going to take the AP ENGL test because that's easy) There is no point. I'm a senior and have been accepted to colleges already and the best I could get on it would be a 3 and that's if I study really hard for it. I mean, what's the point.

Anyone else decided to not take some of their AP tests?

Not taking any this year...and found out recently that all the APs I did take are worthless at the college I'm going to...

Yes! I am not taking BIO! Gah, I am totally not a fan of memorizing random stuff I don't care or like....I will be taking English (to get out of my final, my teacher's tests are pretty killer - she asks you about references in books that are only like 1 sentence long, and my AP score won't affect my grade) and Spanish (my colleges do take this test if I score well, plus I want to do more with the language later on).

Take the AP tests for the college credit (if your college will give it to you). It's always helpful to have a few extra credits, and some tests might even count for a general ed (core) requirement.

Also, if you plan to study abroad (which you should), having extra credits from AP classes is always nice.
