I've begun preparing for my two AP tests this May, Chemistry and American History. Unfortunately, my Chemistry teacher has done far less than prepare me, let alone the class. I'm curious as to whether or not I am required to take the chemistry test. Will colleges see my scores? Is there any harm in getting a poor score. Just for the record, I have A's for terms 1 and 2 and a B for term 3. In essence, my transcript will be satisfactory.

you wouldn't be "required" to take the test but not would be missing the whole point of taking the class. Getting a failing score on the test would only mean that you wouldn't get the college credit for it but by not taking the test (and passing it) you would end up having to get the college credit for it another way (probably at the college you attend) That's pretty much all I know, other people here would probably be sooo much more knowledged than me though
