Who else is taking this next week Thursday?

I find that it will be far easier than Macro!

I’m taking the test, but I’m not going to study until next Wednesday.

Not taking Macro.

AHHH i need help with Macro AND micro haha! At first I thought Micro was easier…but now that I just finished a practice MC test for macro…Macro seems easier.

I’m gonna study a lot this weekend. Too busy this week…

I’m not ready for this… my teacher was absolutely horrible.

I can relate… My teacher was trash and I haven’t reviewed any material since last semester… Can anyone help me up with some good links for not only practice tests, but also thorough review so I relearn all the stuff?

^get 5 steps to a 5

its a book a friend of my econ teacher wrote

they both take part in grading the tests and one of them is with the board that makes them

I absolutely love economics, although I find micro more enjoyable than macro. Lucky me, I get to take the macro makeup. Damn you, AP World.

i tok some review tests and im am pretty sure ill score a 3 easily, maybe a 4

How is Kaplan as a test prep book for micro/macro? I heard it’s usually bad, but how is it for micro/macro?

^ i dont know about Kaplan

but i am useing 5 steps to a 5

I also hear barrons does a great job in overprepping (it did wonders back when i was taking sat subject tests), but i dont know how it is as a cram book

so far i love my 5 steps to a 5

2 days!!!

how are u all doing?

:)

Oh, I am so f-ing screwed. Started self-studying 2 days ago, still on elasticity. Plus, I have to worry about world too.

I’m soooo getting a 2…

^CRAM!!!

lol

this is gonna be a cakewalk compared to macro

I’M ON MARGINAL PRODUCT AND DIMINISHING RETURNS NOW. YES!!

Lol. Not. -_-

35 pages of PR left to read…

imo, PR is really hard to read.
because the subject topics are like all over the place x]
i like 5steps better because its actually organized :D

^Yeah, I totally agree. The explanations are also not the best.

For me, I feel that the easiest way to learn this stuff is to think of them in terms of calculus. Instead of reading a whole freaking page about marginal product and total product, just simply think of the marginal as the derivative of the total. Saves so much time.

I’ve got PR and 5 steps. Need to read 5 steps all day today…

From t[he FRQ instructions:

Guys, what does this mean? Do we have to explain our reasoning for EVERY single question? I thought we had to explain our answers only when the question explicitly asks us to explain?

Can I use a pencil to draw my graphs and diagrams?

screwitlah:

1.it pretty much means expain how you got said answer

2.no, u MUST use a black or dark blue pen.

intructions are there to follow, not question :)

if you look at the scoring guidelines for the very same paper, unless the question explicitly asks for explanations, the markers would give points just for the student “stating” the answers without explanation. that’s why the instructions confuse me.
