AP U.S. Government & Politics

Does everyone really think that this is the easiest AP ever? It frightens me to see people on here say that. This is the first AP I am taking as a sophomore and I find it really hard, plus I happen to be really interested in politics and have above-average knowledge of how our government works. My favorite class is always social studies. I get A's in my honors courses. I go to a really good school that is in the top 100 in the nation. Yet all my classmates and I find this class ridiculously difficult and complicated. I am planning to take 4 AP's as a junior, who knows if I can do that..

So I was just wondering, if you took this course, how easy did you really find it? Is there anyone out there who found this class hard and other AP classes easier?

I was thinking about possibly self studying US Gov. so I'd also like to know.

Did you take APUSH?, If not, then maybe that's why it's so difficult. Our school offers AP US Government in Senior year and APUSH Junior year, and maybe that's why many people say it's really easy. I strongly recommend APUSH first or some sort of US History, then it'll be easier.

I think its really easy, but i find the class interesting.
And the last ten years our teacher has 80% of kids with 3s or higher and 40% of kids getting 5s so the teaching probably is a lot. I don't think APUSH is needed but having a class on US history would be very helpful (I'm pretty sure most schools require this anyway)
