they have some special god who throws it down on the fortunate pple.. their teachers probably

ok, I am kind of unsure about this, tell me if I am wrong:
Primary is where the candidates (who want to run for a political party) run for the party to win the primaries. During primaries, people votes for the delegates also. The person who has won the most primaries is confirmed as the presidential candidate by the delegates during the national convention.
Is that right?

haha! ok thx. like i'm gonna buy em now, 14 hours before the test.

anyone seriously (don't say you are going to just for the heck of it if you're not gonna in reality) planning on pulling an allnighter?

nope. i'm going to sleep in 4 hours, thank ya very much. :D

what is the cutoff for a 4 according to College Board?

wait so in primaries you don't elect a candidate you elect a delegate to go to the party convention?

Well a 50 is a bout a 3 so a 4 is probably like 65....

lol, I am studying Calc BC bcz I have already given up of Gov't. Impossible to get a 5.

65 out of what? what did you consider as weighting?

Datkid...wow you are confusing me...A primary election is an election where you select candidates for future like their nominees.

wait, i thought it was party convenction THEN primaries.

it was either caucuses or party convention: choose delegates

primaries: delegates choose candidate

am i wrong?

I am not going to pull an all nighter, but i will definately stay up until 12 studying and eating milano cookies.

and the delegates(who will go to the nat'l convention) as well, right?

Kr00nik...it is 65 out of 120... 60 points is multiple choice and 60 points are from the essays. you need about an 84 for a 5

aa

OKAY JUST GO TO WIKIPEDIA AND TYPE IN PRIMARY ELECTIONS AND YOU WILL GET ALL THE INFO THAT YOU NEED.

umm the results of the primaries lead to the selection of a candidate that represents each political party in the presidential race. ie, hillary vs obama will be the democratic primary to decide who will represent the democrats in the presidential election (the GOP just had their candidate debate a few days ago too)

austin: yes i think so..

okay, so its caucuses/state conventions/primaries and then the candidates are choosen in the national convention?

wikipedia, here i come

so primaries: vote for candidates for general election
