***AP U.S. HISTORY 2015***

@baller55 you’d be surprised. By a new chapter every day, I mean we read the chapters each night and come in the next day with notes and he lectures to us about what we read. No worksheets. No power points. If he shows us a map, he draws it. He’s very old fashioned.

Is there an official collegeboard practice exam? Where can I get it? Can someone send me a link?

MODERATOR’S NOTE: As a matter of fact there are several. However, from the College Board:

Please do not ask for or post practice exams; the post will only get deleted and the poster warned.

Hey guys. Do you think it’s worth buying AMSCO book if there’s no answer key?

@glasshours Okayy. I think I’ll get the book then.

We just finished the Cold War. hoping for a 5

My class is now just reviewing. We have one timed dbq on monday but after that it’s just review. We had out last unit exam today! Hoping for a 4 or 5!

We’ve done a few essays this year and I’ve aced all of them. I expect a 5 but i’m still reading through REA crash course and amsco to be sure.

Has anyone here tried Pass A.P. US History for review? Friend of mine highly recommended it for last minute study. Wondering what you all thought of it. It’s very highly rated on amazon at least.

is this for the new amsco

Does anybody know what you need on certain sections to get certain scores. Like what MC score puts you in a good position for a 5 or a 4 or a 3? And what should you score on the short answers and essays for certain scores?

hey, anyone have any predictions for the new curve? 2015 princeton review doesn’t have anything :’(

I Part A: Multiple Choice 55 questions 55 minutes 40%
Part B: Short-answer questions 4 questions 50 minutes 20%
II Part A: Document-based question 1 question 55 minutes 25%
Part B: Long essay question 1 question 35 minutes 15%

Id say a total of 65% is around the minimum for a 5 and 42% the minimum for a 3

In 2006 you needed 75/180 to get a 3, 90/180 to get a 4, and 110/180 to get a 5

@skieurope What if it’s a test openly available on the College Board website?

@JonoLa That’s fine, as long as there is a link directing to the College Board website. Since we do not monitor PM’s, posts offering to PM will always be warned/deleted since we do not know the content, as will links not affiliated with the College Board.

how much of the test do you guys think will be on 1980-present???

confident about a 4 though, any tips for getting into that 5 range?

Per the College Board - ~5%.
