Just exactly how hard is AP U.S. History, just wondering? I heard that you get a lot of homework, notes, and quizzes, but is it really hard? Is it impossible to get an A in the class? Some of my friends are taking it now, but haven't really heard about their opinion of the class.

It’s not too difficult (so far). It’s a lot of learning on your own - taking notes, studying, preparing yourself for an exam that your teacher has NO control over. AP World History, in my mind, was a lot harder than APUSH.

Thanks, yeah I heard world history is hard, but I never gave much thought of that. I’ll consider that in the future.

try posting this in the AP Test and Preparation thread.

(and, for the record, the actual coursework for APUSH will greatly vary by school, as the only nationally regulated aspect is the test.)

My APUSH class is pretty difficult in comparison to AP World. But like scrivener said, it varies from school to school. Outlining the chapters in my book really helps me prepare for tests/quizzes and (hopefully) the AP exam :)

AMSCO is god in that class

(This should probably go in the AP Preparation Section or High School Life)
