I have one AP score I would rather not report. I don't think it would be a big deal and leave it off but include my other good ones.

Thoughts?

No report all of your scores, even your bad ones. You don’t want to hide information.

I had some bad scores and I also had good ones as well. I reported all of them because it won’t hurt you.

They don’t care about bad AP scores. They ignore them 100%.

I had 5s on AP tests and didn’t report them because I didn’t use the credit. You don’t have to.

Thanks everyone!

For my better tests, I am using some of the credit. Normally I wouldn’t care and just report all of them, but if they do look, my bad score will be the first one they see since it seems to be listed in alphabetical order.

I think I’m just being paranoid actually :/

You are being paranoid. Not sure how it works, though. When you have them sent do you pick and choose or do they just automatically send them all?

Even if you sent them all, why would it matter?

Good points all around.

@lindyk8, I think I could self report some and then send the AP report after I’m admitted, so the bad score won’t be seen by admissions. But I am not sure that is correct.

@CSB111 , my concern is that it would be the first AP score they see as part of my application.

First off, you don’t send the actual scores until after you are admitted. So just don’t list the ones that are irrelevant in your application. Just the ones that give you credit.

^ I wanted to do this also but it doesn’t even matter because they’re going to see ALL of your scores anyways when you send them.

The point is they do not care about the scores that are below 3. They don’t care!!! Do list them, don’t list them. You are too obssessed about this - I suggested leaving them off app and letting them see them after admission, if it will make you feel calmer. The point is they don’t care about the low scores either way.

Stop worrying about it.

From the UC site:
“Please encourage students to take AP tests when appropriate. Although the College Board reports all AP tests results to us, students should be aware AP test scores lower than 3 will not adversely affect their chances for admission.”
