Do you guys think this would be too crazy? This is coming from a more math/science type of person. I have a lot of time commitments outside of school and I was wondering if doubling in history would be a good idea...

maybe is not a very good idea regards to your schedule, especially AP social science requires alot of reading and outlining.

Ya...probably not a good idea. Do APUSH though.

I'm doing AP USH, AP Euro, and AP World at the same time this year and I would actually recommend that you double or even triple up on history because it all flows together quite nicely. Good luck.:)

i did ap art hist, us hist, and world history last year and got 5's on all three. LOTS of reading. i got a 4 on euro my soph year though. sigh.

bad idea. take ap world

I know a lot of colleges don't accept World Hist AP (all the major one's I've looked at at least). US AP is like universal.

ur sick lol
ur a history freak i guess

Wait what? colleges don't accept APWH? That's news to me, where did you find that info, can you link me to more info please? That'd help a lot, considering I'm in APWH at the moment...

I didn't say that all colleges don't...I'm just saying I know a lot of colleges doesn't award it credit.

many colleges don't take it because it is about 5 years old unlike US which is the first ap class that came out

hmmm...anyone have a listing of APW credit policies?

in any case, I would say definitely do US, but if you feel as though you can handle two histories then more power to you and go right ahead.

its not bad and the exams are on different days. I took AP Euro and AP US last year on the same day and that was rough. I still got 5's though.
