AP US DBQ help

Does anyone know where I can get example DBQs that got different kinds of scores? I also need info on specifically how I am supposed to cite documents.

Don't know about examples. As far as citing, its pretty much up to you I dont remember learning one standard way of doing it. I would usually just "write whatever in quotes" (Source B).-like that

my teacher told my class not to directly quote b/c it sounds corny or something like that. She also said not to refer to it as a document except for the citation.

Well i sometimes did directs, most of the times I would just paraphrase like
As said in -whatever source b is- blah blah blah
they wont take points off though or anything, because its the bulk of it that really counts. you'll be surprised at what u can pull out ur a$$

Yeah..my teacher would automatically give us a 4 if we directly quoted the documents. And we cited them just like this (B).

Hey, I was wondering how you study for Essays.

My assumption is that for the FRQ you just pull out supporting evidence like you would a detailed persuasive essay.

and DBQ's are kindof like English essays where you just use the information presented in front of you to make your arguement.

Is this right? or what should I be doing?

I skipped the Amsco DBQ's and Historical Perspectives...are they worth going over?

FRQ -- Make lists of facts that you can tie in. Also have a strong thesis with different categories. It really shouldn't be any different from the DBQ, aside from the lack of documents.
